Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce cost and shorten printing treating time by disposing a plurality of dot expressing element groups, dot expressing elements thereof are arranged on a straight line inclining to the travelling direction, in the travelling direction of the dot expressing elements.
CONSTITUTION: Seven dot expressing element driving units 7 are inclinedly disposed so that the left is higher and they are successively located at lower positions with advance to the right, and a plurality of dot expressing element driving units 7 in which every seven unit is inclinedly arranged are similarly installed to the left of the units. All dot expressing elements 15 successively express dots where necessary for forming a pattern which mush be expressed on a recording medium 1, with the travelling of a dot expressing element supporter 6 in the arrow head direction 18. When the next printing line is printed after one printing line is formed, the dot expressing element supporter 6 prints travelling in the arrow head 19 direction. There is no necessity for mounting at high density, and constraining conditions such as the magnetic and thermal mutual interference of the dot expressing elements are decreased.
