Abstract
PURPOSE:To minimize precipitation of tar and to prevent occurrence of troubles due to sticking of tar, by providing a tar-sticking preventing means using a solid acid catalyst in a fuel passage extending from a fuel inlet port to an outlet port of combustion gas. CONSTITUTION:In an oil gasified instantaneous water heater, a tar-sticking preventing means using a solid acid catalyst is provided in fuel passages 1a, 1, 2a, 2, 3, 4, 8, 15, 16, 17, which extends from a fuel inlet port 1a to an outlet port 17 of combustion gas. By using a tar-sticking preventing means, for instance, in the form of paint, it is coated over the surfaces of a combustion sleeve 4 and a vaporizing sleeve 3 for forming a porous film thereon. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to minimize precipitation of tar and to prevent degradation of the performance due to sticking of tar.
