Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent chips from being reservoired on the metallic plate by drilling the metallic plate while cutting oil is supplied in a junk ring on the metallic plate and discharged from a concave groove and by discharging the chips produced during the drilling work. CONSTITUTION:When the metallic plate of a spinneret or the like is drilled, a spinneret plate 2 is mounted on a base 1, and the junk ring 3 is tightened with a bolt 4 on the peripheral edge of the base 1 and fixed on the plate 2. Holes 2a of the spinneret are perforated by a rotating drill 6 while the cutting oil 7 being supplied in the ring 3 and at the same time being discharged from the concave groove 8 formed at the bottom of the ring 3, so that the chips produced by the drilling are discharged from the concave groove 8 along with the cutting oil 7 and not reservoired on the spinneret plate 2. Accordingly, the drill 6 is not caught in the chips and therefore, the drill 6 is seldom broken during the drilling work.
