Abstract

PURPOSE: The copolymerization of vinyl chloride monomer and acrylic or methacrylic polyhydric alcohol ester gives titled copolymer having a wide range of precessing conditions such as temperature and giving molded products with flexibility and lustless surface.
CONSTITUTION: The copolymerization of (A) 100pts.wt. of vinyl chloride monomer and (B) 0.05W10 parts of ester of polyhydric alcohol with 2 or more acrylic or methacrylic acids such as polyethlene glycol diacrylate is effected wherein the polymerization temperature is preferably changed in a range from 2 to 20°C, rising is preferred, thus producing said copolymer.
EFFECT: On the calendering, the bank rotates very smoothly, resulting in high processability.
