Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of manufacturing processes of a captioned device convenient for angles of lead by steps by equalizing heights of projections provided on a rotor driven by an engine and changing depths of these projections respectively for changing the output voltage of a coil in a magnetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:The height of a projection 14 provided at a reference ignition position of a rotor 12 is equalized with that of a projection 16 separated therefrom by theta degrees, and a difference is given to distances A and B from their top to the periphery of the rotor. When these two projections pass to face to a top part 24 of a stator core 18, different induction voltages are given in a coil 20 on the basis of the difference of change rates of magnetic flux of a magnet 22 given in the stator core. Consequently, the characteritic of ignition lead angle for a low speed by the pulse voltage of the projection 14 can be given an angle of lead by steps by theta degrees at the number of revolutions N1 by which the pluse voltage of the projection 16 begins to trigger an ignition circuit. This construction simplifies the process of manufacturing by processing depths of projections, and permits to reduce the number of manufacturing processes for improving productivity.
