Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify cleaning operation and improve precision in locating by a method wherein a kneader casing for thermosetting resin molding material is divided into two portions, the upper being supported rotatably at its one end and the lower being installed so that it is free to move easily up and down. CONSTITUTION:A casing 2 in which a kneading screw 1 is built is divided into two upper and lower portions, that is, an upper casing 3 and a lower one 4. The lower casing 4 is mounted on a base 5 so as to be free to move up and down and one side end of the upper casing 3 is hinged so as to be free to turn up and down. The upper and the lower casing are located with precision by means of fitting of a spigot 26 of the upper casing 3 and a socket 29 of the lower casing 4. When the casing is disassembled, an eyebolt 31 is removed, the upper casing 3 is pushed up by a push bolt and revolved upward by a worm wheel 22 and the kneading screw 1 is exposed. Then, the lower casing 4 is moved down by rotating supporting screw shafts 12 by a worm 16 and a worm wheel 14.
