Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of smoke resulting from imperfect combustion which cause the secondary pollution by performing perfect combustion without leaving harmful constituent to the residue when such waste matter as automobile tire is subjected to incineration. CONSTITUTION:The waste matter C such as tires that have been cut into pieces of preliminarily fixed size is placed on a supporting plate 1 mounted in a lower part inside a dry distillation part A, and the dry distillation is conducted successively from the lower part with dry distillation heat source below the supporting plate 1, and the dry distillation gases are sent to an incineration part B by an air feeding means D. The dry distillation residues consisting mainly of carbon black are dropped on to the heat source 2 below the supporting plate 1 and subjected to red heat incineration, and the heat generated thereby is reutilized as the dry distillation heat source. And in the incineration part B the dry distillation gases sent from the dry distillation part A are passed through an auxiliary material part 3 for incineration consisting of red heated catalyst, to conduct a perfect incineration. Thus the smoke generation to be caused by the imperfect incineration can be prevented and the heated air can be utilized for further heat source.
