Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a drive source sharply by a system wherein the separate length of ink introducing paths is changed, and pizoelectric elements are driven successively shifting fixed time from the longest ink introducing path. CONSTITUTION:The length of ink introducing paths 1D1-1Dn is lengthened in l1-ln succesively, and the retardation time of the ejection of ink 2 from each nozzle 1A1-1An is prolonged to drive wave-forms applied to each pizoelectric element C1-Cn. In this case, the retardation time is at least lengthened more than the rise time of each drive wave-form, and time applied to each piezoelectric element C1-Cn is delayed so that the ink is ejected at the same time and the elements are driven. Thus, the capacity of a drive source is decreased to 1/n capacity because the drive wave-form instantaneously frows only to any one of elements C1-Cn.
