Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the voltage at the load side constant, by connecting a terminal of the load side to the common potential and presume the voltage drop of a cable at the power source side from the difference of potential between the common potential and the power source side terminal connected as mentioned above and correcting the supplied voltage. CONSTITUTION:The secondary winding of the transformer 11 is connected to the electric power supply device 22, and the output of the device 22 is connected to the load Z via the core wires 13 and 14 of the cable 15. In this case, a common potential (earth) is given to P, Q and B, and thus the voltage of the wires 13 and 14 become as E0+ri and -ri (r: load current) each at the transmission side where r is the resistance of the wires 13 and 14 each and E0 is the both-end voltage of the load Z. Accordingly, the voltage E0 is obtained at the both ends A-B of the load Z by detecting the potential difference -ri between the point P and the wire 14 at the transmission side and then supplying the voltage of E0 +Zri between the wires 13 and 14. As a result, the reception voltage is held at E0 regardless of a change of the cable length or the load.
