PURPOSE:To manufacture a liquid-crystal panel of high reliability in a small number of process steps by sticking many polarizing layers to a substrate, and then by cutting upper and lower substrates, bonded at a low temperature, into individuals. CONSTITUTION:In an upper transparent substrate, holes 100 for sealing liquid crystal are made and many electrodes 300 in the same display pattern are formed.At the liquid-crystal layer side of lower substrate 200, reflective surfaces 401 are formed by vapor-depositing a thin metallic film. Onto this lower substrate 501, polarizing layer 500 is stuck and its top is protected by a transparent this film. On the surface of this layer 601, transparent display electrode pattern 600 is formed corresponding to display electrode pattern 300 on the upper substrate. Next, after an orienting treatment, upper substrate 700 and lower substrate 702 are stucked mutually and bonded together with a spacer interposed, and then cut into individual liquid- crystal panels.
