Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the device highly presice and highly reliable by constituting the entire circuit of IC logic and by operating a periodic counter of reference period and an allowable fluctuation counter part by a clock pulse of high speed and high precision. CONSTITUTION:A rise detecting part 11 performs detection of the rise of a periodic pulse P1 to be measured and sends out a rise detection pulse P2. A two-phase pulse generating part 21 delivers set pulses S1 and S2. A flip-flop 31 is set and reset by pulses S1, S2, R1 and R2, respectively. An exclusive OR gate 33 delivers a fluctuation pulse Q3. Reference period counters 41 and 42 count the value of reference period set by a reference period setting part 43, delivering reset pulses R1 and R2. A periodic fluctuation counter part 51 delivers a signal E for periodic fluctuation error.
