Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the device light in weight and small-sized and facilitate fitting work therefor by arranging a current detecting element formed of a magnetic reluctance element in the vicinity of a current-passing conductor through the intermediary of an insulation material. CONSTITUTION:A lead wire 3 connected with a power line is inserted into and supported by a bushing 2 which is pierced through and supported by a switch case 1. To the surface of the case 1 is fitted the magnetic reluctance element 5 for detecting high-voltage current through the intermediary of a fitting piece 4 formed of an insulation material so that it is positioned near the bushing 2. When abnormal current flows through the lead wire 3 and a magnetic field acts on the magnetic reluctance element 5, an output is generated from a bridge containing the magnetic reluctance element 5.
