Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the same frequency characteristic as when there is no capacity between terminals of each element, by applying the voltage in proportion with the output electric signal, to the terminal to which constant voltage has been applied before, such as a photodiode, etc. CONSTITUTION:The conventional by-pass capacitor is removed, and instead of it, the output signal of the receiving amplifier circuit 3 is provided to the photodetector 1 through the attenuator 6 and the coupling capacitor 7. According to this constitution, when an avalanche diode has been used for the light receiving circuit, the same amplification degree can be always kept by no signal level, and it is possible to realize a satisfactory analog signal receiving circuit which is free from waveform distortion. Also, in case when the frequency characteristic is controlled by the capacity between terminals of the photodiode of a large aperture, voltage between the photodiode is not varied by the receiving waveform, therefore there are no electric charge and discharge to the capacity between the terminals of the photodiode, and the same frequency characteristic as when there is no capacity between terminals can be obtained.
