Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to miniaturize the differential transformer by a method wherein the core held by a supporting stick of nonmagnetic material is inserted into the center hole of a bobbin, the stick is slided in the hole and the number of winding of the primary and the secondary coils are reduced. CONSTITUTION:The first and the second layers of the primary coil 12 are wound on the overall length of the bobbin 11 made of nonmagnetic material and a lead wire 13 is provided. The two secondary coils 14 and 16 are tightly wound on the primary coil 12 and lead out wires 15 and 17 are connected differentially. The core 18 held by the supporting stick 19 of nonmagnetic material is inserted in the center hole 21 of the bobbin 11 and is slided in the center hole. Also, after the primary coil 12 has been wound on the bobbin 12, a ring 20, having a notch, of nonmagnetic material is fitted into the central part assisting the secondary coils 14 and 16 to easily perform their winding work. A current of several volts is applied to the coil 12 at the high frequency of 50-3,000Hz and a sufficiently high voltage is induced at the coils 14 and 16, thereby allowing to miniaturize the differential transformer.
