Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit operation with a small operation force by mounting the transferring frame body which holds the female screw mechanism part rotatably on a male screw shaft which revolves continually and allowing arbitrary braking and releasing, from outside, for the revolution of the female screw mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: With an electromagnet 10 in conduction state, the brake 8 installed at the top end of a core 9 is pulled upward against a spring 11, and separated from the outer periphery of a nut 5. As the nut 5 can revolve freely with a shaft 2, a transferring frame body 6 is stopped at the right end position by the force of a spring 12, irrespective of the revolution of the shaft 2. On the other hand, when the magnet 10 is brought into nonconduction state, the brake 8 is pushed onto the outer periphery of the nut 5 by the force of the spring 11, and the idle revolution of the nut 5 is stopped. With the revolution of the shaft 2, the nut 5 is shifted leftward with the transferring frame body 6, due to the engagement of a male screw groove 3 and the female screw part 4 of the nut 5.
