Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the leading end of a transfer material to be bent accurately by operating the blade for bending the transfer material from a retreat position when the transfer material is correctly positioned by using a predetermined clutch mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A revolving roller 11 and an elastic roller 12 are mounted to a pair of sheet conveying rollers 3, 3, and a blade 11a for bending the leading end of sheet is formed to the roller 11. Here, a spring 22 is provided, and one end thereof is detained to the roller 11 and the other end is frictionally wound to the large-diameter part 3b1 of the shaft 3b, whereby a spring clutch is constituted. The blade 11a is normally in the shunting position shown by the figure, and is held energized so as to rotate in the clockwise direction when viewed from the direction A by the spring 22. When with this constitution the leading end of a sheet is inserted between the rollers 11 and 12, and a solenoid 26 is energized, a detaining lever 25 disengages and the clutch is engaged by the accumulated energy, by which the blade 11a is rotated by θ, to bent the leading end of the sheet. When the lever 25 is detained, the blade resets to the retreat position. Thereby, the blade is operated in the correct sheet position and the leading end is bent correctly.
