Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve smaller size and less weight omitting an insulating transformer by replacing it with a circuit comprising a switch element and a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:When a switching element 22 is closed on the S1 side and a switching element 22 on the S1' side, apart of a DC load stored in a capacitor 8 is transferred to a capacitor 27. When the switching element 22 is closed on the S2 side and the switching element 22 on the S2' side, a DC charge of a capacitor 27 is transferred to a capacitor 24. As contacts S1 and S2 and S1' and and S2' are closed simultaneously, there is no period during which a load 25 is connected to an AC power source 4, that it, the load 25 is always insulated from the AC power source. This enables the maintaining of insulation between the input and output omitting the insulating transformer, accomplishing smaller size, les weight and lower cost in a great measure.
