Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title novel composition having excellent corrosion-resistance in an aqueous medium, metallic luster, and brightness, by adding specific amounts of a surface active agent and a dimer acid.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of metal powder, such as atomized powder, shredded foil powder, etc., with (B) pref. 8.1W81 parts of a surface active agent (e.g. fatty acid soap), and (C) 0.81W81 parts of a dimer acid, pref. a dimer of a ≥12C unsaturated fatty acid, and if necessary, (D) 0.81W81 parts of a ≥8C higher aliphatic amine. The compounding is carried out by adding the components (B), (C), and (D) to the (A) component during the pulverization and/or kneading of the (A) component.
