Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a title base plate with good strength, high active substance utilizing ratio and high electric discharge property by a method wherein metal fibers comprising Ni or Ni plated metal with a specified wire diameter are preliminarily sintered to a core metal and Ni powder is sintered thereon.
CONSTITUTION: Fibrous metal comprising Ni or Ni plated iron or the like with a wire diameter of below 20μm is converted to a paste by mixing carboxymethylcellulose and water. This paste is deposited on a Ni plated iron plate (0.1mm) with porous ratio of 45% which is a core metal by coating and, after dried, e.g., at 150°C for 20min., sintered for 5min. within H2 gas of about 1000°C. Thereby, numberless branches of a meral fiber with 90W97% porosity on a periphery of a core metal. Subsequently, carbonyl.Ni powder is mixed with carboxymethylcellulose and water to prepare a paste and this paste is deposited an above described core material by coating, thereafter drying and sintering is carried out as above described.
