Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the cooling air flow by providing a terminal block having terminals for commutating device and functioning as the side board for blasting fan between the blasting fan provided in the rotor and a cooling fin provided in the commutating element.
CONSTITUTION: Blasting fan 8 is fitted on the flank of frame 1' of the rear of rotor 4 located inside ring-shaped stator 2, while commutating device 10 composed of horseshoe-shaped cooling fins 11 and 11' with three diodes 12 and 12' respectively is provided in the place opposite to blasting fan 8. And between cooling fin 11 and blasting fan 8 is provided horseshoe-shaped terminal block 13 in which are embedded three terminals 16 for connecting given diodes 12 and 12' with given stator coil 2b. Furthermore, on the side of blasting fan 8 of terminal block 13 is formed guide face 13a facing in a slight gap with blade 8a of blasting fan 8 and functioning as the side board for blasting fan 8.
