Abstract

PURPOSE: To control several machine tools simultaneously from a random position by making wireless connections between a numerical controller and machine tools and then by arranging the numerical controller freely.
CONSTITUTION: A control command pulse from NC unit 1 is amplified by amplifier 2 and then time-distributed by distributor 3. This time-sharing signal is sent out from antenna 5 with a resonance frequency made different by resonance circuit 4. The signal from this antenna 5 is received by antennas 8 and 14 of controllers 7 and 13 controlling machie tools and the control pulse is led to controllers 7 and 13 through resonance circuits 9 and 15; and then a read end signal is sent out from antennas 8 and 14 to antenna 5 to set stop control circuit 6, thereby stopping the operation of NC unit 1. Then, machine tools are provided to controllers 7 and 13 and the output of NC unit 1 is time-divided and supplied to respective controllers 7 and 13 to control machine tools in parallel.
