Abstract

PURPOSE: To control injection rate and thus to control fuel for optimal operation without requiring adjustment by changing number of revolutions of an oil pump electrically through electromagnetic coupling according to engine revolutions.
CONSTITUTION: A shaft 1a of an oil pump 1 to feed fuel to an injector 4 is coupled to an output shaft 6b of an electromagnetic coupling 6 through coupler 5, and the input shaft 6a is coupled to an output shaft 8a of an Diesel engine 8. The output shaft 8a is arranged with an engine revolution detector 10, and a pulse signal PN obtained through a sensor 11 is applied to a controlling circuit 15. Then, the pump shaft 1a is also arranged with a revoluation detector 12, and a pulse signal PO obtained through a sensor 13 is applied to the controlling circuit 15. The controlling circuit 15 is operated to control an exciting force of the electromagnetic coupling, thereby adjusting an output deviation of both sensors 11, 13 to 0.
