Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the bend pipe of a large thickness in its maximum deviated wear portion by bending the thickness deviated pipe having been subjected to centrifugal force case through the use of the mold which the rotating center of the mold and the center of inside diameter are deviated.
CONSTITUTION: The center of the outside peripheral surface 1a of a mold 1, i.e., the rotating center O of the mold 1, and the center O' of the inside diameter peripheral surface 1b are deviated. When this mold is rotated about O on the centrifugal casting machine and molten metal is poured therein, a thickness deviated pipe 2 is centrifugally cast on the inside diameter peripheral surface 1b. Next, the thickness deviated pipe 2 is taken out from the mold 1 and with this as a blank, high frequency bending or the like is applied, whereby the bend pipe of the intended bend badius is obtained.
