Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable high-frequency pulses of a low level to pass through a diode filter, by forwardly biasing the diodes of the diode filter only when the high-frequency pulses passes through it. CONSTITUTION:A high-frequency wave generated by an oscillator 1 is turned on and off by a gate circuit 2 and a pulse generator 3 which produces a gate signal. When high-frequency pulses (b) are applied from the gate circuit 2 to a diode filter 5 through a capacitor 4, a bias signal (c) synchronized with pulse modulation is applied to the middle point M of the filter. As a result, bias currents flow through diodes D21, D22, D13, D14 and choke coils 7, 8 throughout a period T0, namely, these diodes are turned on. Thus, the pulses are not attenuated and pass with good linearity through the diode filter throughout the period T0 even if the amplitude of the high-frequency wave is small.
