Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the low-toxic, safe, and low-cost title agent capable of solving the problem of the flowering of the qualities of young rice plants which is a serious present problem aroused by the machinization of rice culturing, containing, as an effective component, wood vinegar obtained easily as a by-product of the production of charcoal, pine oil, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Wood vinegar is diluted with water to the desired concentration, or mixed or adsorbed to an agricultural carrier such as soil, compost, leaf mold, etec., or applied together with pesticides and fertilizers. For example, 4W40 grams of wood vinegar is added to 4kg of soil of a nursery box. It is applied, preferably, before seeding.
EFFECT: No residual toxicity; easy application.
USE: Also effective to egg plant, cucumber, melon, onion, strawberry, etc. under specific conditions.
