Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the title pharmaceuticals without troubles such as fire hazard, explosion hazard, environmental pollution, etc., by coating a solid medicine with a coating liquid obtained by dissolving or dispersing a film-forming polymer insoluble in the gastric juice and intestinal juice, and a powdery enteric coating substance in water.
CONSTITUTION: A coating liquid containing 2W20wt% of solid components is prepared by dissolving or dispersing (A) a film-forming polymer insoluble in gastric juice and intestinal juice, e.g. polyvinyl acetate, polyacrylic acid, polyvinyl alcohol (average degree of polymerization: 300W5,000, and average degree of saponification: ≥96%, and (B) a powdery enteric coating agent, e.g. hydroxypropylmethylcellulose phthalate, cellulose acetate phthalate, etc. The weight ratio of (A)/(B) is 20/1W1/100. The objective enteric-coated drug is prepared by coating a solid medicine (tablets, pills, etc.) with the above coating liquid.
