Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain high frequency output which does not contain a commercial frequency ripple by connecting a voltage smoothing circuit in addition to a DC reactor for smoothing current to the power source of an invertor.
CONSTITUTION: Output voltage of a rectifier circuit is smoothed by the voltage smoothing circuit 16 while the commercial frequency ripple is removed and, in addition, the current is smoothed by the DC reactor 18, then sent to the input terminal of the invertor 20. Thyristors A∼D which constitutes the invertor 20 are controlled as they synchronizing with the resonance frequency of a resonance circuit 28. Thus high frequency output without containing the commercial frequency ripple can be obtained from output terminals P and Q.
