Abstract
PURPOSE: To activate the alarm unit, by converting the current flowing to the motor winding into DC voltage, adding it with the set voltage, and operating the relay circuit if the resultant voltage changes + or - more than the dead band of the Schmitt circuit, by regarding it as the open or short winding.
CONSTITUTION: The current IM flowing to the winding of the motor A is converted into AC voltage at the current-voltage conversion circuit 1, it is in half wave rectification at the diode D1 and it is converted into the DC voltage +VB at the integration circuit 2. On the other hand, the power supply voltage is in half wave rectification at the diodes D7 and D8 through the power supply circuit 11 to obtain the DC voltage +VDD, -VSS to the neutral point COM. The set voltage -VF is obtained by dividing the voltage -Vss at the current set unit 4. Further the voltage -VE is obtained by dividing the voltage at point D. +VB, -VE, -VF are added at the circuit 3 and they are fed to the Schmitt circuit 9 having a dead band via the amplifier 5. If there is a failure such as open winding in the motor A, the current IM changes and the voltage is varied more than the dead band of the circuit 9, the relay circuit 7 is activated to operate the alarm unit 12.
