Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the clogging of diffusing holes by providing a shutter made of an outwardly openable flexible elastomer to diffusing hole.
CONSTITUTION: The rectangular diffusing pipe 1 connected with the air supply pipe 3 is provided with a large number of the shutters 4 made of a flexible elastomer, e.g., rubber, sponge, etc. The elastic material for forming the shutter 4 is such that before the internal pressure of the diffusing pipe becomes more than the allowable loading of compressor by which air is sent into the diffusing pipe 1, it can expand outwards to open up the diffusing hole 2. Then, even if flocs and sediments blocked the diffusing hole 2, clogs and discharged through the partition pieces 5 of the shutter 4 which are opened outwards by the rise of the internal pressure, so that the function of the diffusing pipe 2 can be maintained.
