Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a twist from being produced in the brake caliper when applied a braking operation, by providing the brake caliper in a manner across the brake disc from the inside.
CONSTITUTION: A hub 1 is constructed in such manner with each right side end, of an inner tube portion 1a for a bearing 3, 3' to be engaged and an outer tube portion 1b for binding a spoke 7, uniformly linked through a side wall portion 1c, and with an opening hollow in the left side. And to the left side end part of the outer tube portion 1b, is secured a brake disc 8. A brake caliper 10 is arranged in such manner as placed across the brake disc 8 from its inner circumferential side, and one unit construction is made in a manner for an inner bearing 13, supported through a needle bearing 12, to an inner arm part 10a, and for an outer bearing unit 14 to an outer arm part 10b. In this way, the brake caliper 10 can be made parallel displacement to a wheel axle 2, and the hub 1 can be rotated in no relation to the brake caliper 10.
