Abstract

PURPOSE: To correctly control the alloy amount on the plated metal plate by calculating the ultimate heating temperature and formed alloy amount in resistance heating and induction heating, obtained deviation-elimination-corresponding voltage from the alloy amount thus calculated and a preset alloy amount and determining control voltage then inputting the same to the control system for both heating.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of heat treating the metal plate having been plated with dissimilar metals through combination of resistance heating and induction heating, the intermediate point temperature of the point corresponding to the mean value of electric resistivities and the ultimate temperature in the heating zone are calculated from the voltage, current, line speed, dimensions and material of the metal plate, plating amount and atmospheric temperature in resistance heating and further the ultimate temperature in induction heating is also calculated. From the ultimate temperatures of both, the formed alloy amount is calculated and the deviation-elimination-corresponding voltage for the set alloy amount is obtained. Thence, a control voltage is determined from the line speed, the intermediate point temperature of the resistance heating and the corresponding voltage, and is then inputted to the control system of the heating device, whereby the controlling of the alloy amount is accomplished.
