Abstract

PURPOSE: To make mounting of a paper roll easy and to enable a slip to be printed by providing a printing device with both the mechanisms for feeding journal and receipt sheets and for farther sending the slip sheet inserted in front of the printing position.
CONSTITUTION: A printing device comprises a printer head 22, a platen 22, a journal paper roll 25, etc. and is capable of printing both journal and recirpt. A paper feeding mechanism composed of feed rollers 27, 28, guide plates 29, 30, etc. is provided for sending the journal and receipt sheets stored in a recording paper reservoir containing the sheets of journal, receipt, etc. and locating at frontside of the printing position of this printing device from backside toward frontside of the printing position through the printing position. In addition, the other paper feed mechanism composed of slip sheet feed rollers 32, 33, etc. is provided for making the slip printing possible by sending the inserted slip sheet from frontside to backside.
