Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform exposure correction while viewing the finder by changing the correct exposure information having been stored in a register, step by step, by a logarithmic extension circuit and the automatic reset type 2-contact switch mounted to the camera outside.
CONSTITUTION: When the photographer judges by viewing the finder visual field that exposure correction needs by performed, he pushes the exposure correction switch 7 of automatic reset type 2 contacts once to the + side or - side, then a CPU 3 emits a shift instruction to a memory 9 which has stored correct exposure information. When the memory 9 upon receiving this shifts the storage contents by 1 bit to the upper position, the exposure time is changed of setting to the value of 1/2 time by the operation of a logarithmic extension circuit 11 and when it shifts to a lower position, the exposure time is changed of setting to the value of 2 times. Hence, when the switch 7 is pushed n times, the contents of the memory 9 in which the exposure time is corrected to 2n times or 1/2n times are displayed in the shutter second time portion of the finder 15 and the exposure correction may be performed while the photographer is viewing the finder.
