Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the number of the circuits to obtain a simple and low-cost structure for the whole device by installing the multiple address unit to the facsimile device and also forming the transmission circuit into the arborescent and multi-step structure, at the same time accelerating the time for the information transmission.
CONSTITUTION: The facsimile device consists of the facsimile main body and the multiple address unit. Facsimile main body 20 comprises reading part 21, video processor 22 to give binary coding to the picture information, reading buffer 23, data compressor to give coding to the picture information, data reproducer for decoding, recording buffer 26, recording driver 27, recording part 28, and system controller 29 to give the control to these above circuits. While the multiple address unit comprises CPU31, communication control part 32 and multiple address communication control part 33 each. Control part 33 is constituted with network control units 34A∼34C, answer detection units 35A∼35C and automatic calling units 36A∼36C. In addition, MODEM30 is provided to perform the modulation for transmission of the coded data of compressor 24 as well as the demodulation for input of the reception signal to reproducer 25.
