CONSTITUTION:Central unit 200 incorporating, for example, terminal units #1- #n (Chinese character printers), the memory memorizing the Chinese character patterns and CPU is provided along with polling control unit 100. Then the signal shwoing the necessity for the polling is transmitted from units #1-#n, and then the polling cycle is formed via unit 100 for the terminal requiring the polling and indicated so by the signal. Thus, the polling is carried out in sequence.
