Abstract

PURPOSE: To display the F value and automatic dimming operation at the automatic dimming through the use of the same display device by letting a light emitting element for displaying F value flicker by way of a transistor controlled by the free- running multi output according to automatic dimming signal.
CONSTITUTION: When a switch 19 is connected to a contact b to select F value and an automatic dimming state is set by closing a switch 2, then a light emitting display device 17 goes on and the selected F value is displayed. When flash is emitted and automatic dimming is accomplished by way of a photo detecting circuit 15 or the like, the output of the inverter 23 of a light emitting display device 16 is inverted to a low level by the dimming signal and the monostable multi 22 provided with a NAND gate 24 triggers a free-running multi 21 according to the time constant by a capacitor 25 and resistance 26. This causes the conduction and non-conduction of a transistor 20 to be reiterated by the oscillation output of the multi 21 of the trigger period by the multi 22, by which the element 17 is flickered, thus it is displayed by the same light emitting display element that the F value and automatic dimming operation are being accomplished.
