Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to vary play tempo freely and momently by using a touch switch circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Touch switch circuit 2 is connected to driving power supply 5 through oscillator 3 and comparing detector 4. Consequently, touching touch switch circuit 2 makes reproducing head H2 reproduce a tempo signal recorded on tape T and the signal after passing through amplifying waveform shaper 1 is compared by comparing detector 4 with an oscillation signal from oscillator 3; and a differential signal is inputted to driving power supply 5, which changes the driving speed of motor M of tape recorder R to that equivalent to a time interval that the finger touched touch switch circuit 2, so that the play tempo will be changed into desired tempo momentaly.
