Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a small-size and good-sealing property crystal vibrator package by laminating glass materials to produce the vibrator package. CONSTITUTION:Two glass panels 20a and 20b and two glass panel rings 21a and 21b are laminated, and crystal vibrator 6 is stored inside. A low-melting point glass or metallic thin film is plated onto each glass material and is melted to seal crystal vibrator 6 hermetically. Since it is sufficient if the thickness of glass panel rings is slightly larger than that of the crystal vibrator, the package itself can be thin. Many glass rings can be produced with a high precision at a time by etching.
