Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize an arbitrary frequency characteristic in a microwave band by connecting a circulator, where a band stop filter is connected at one end, and a band stop filter in series. CONSTITUTION:A microwave signal inputted from input terminal 11 generates concave A in the amplitude only at a specific frequency by band stop filter 12. The microwave signal concaved at the specific frequency is inputted to band stop filter 14 through a circulator. Band stop filter 14 stops the specific frequency to generate protrusion B in the amplitude characteristic. The microwave passed through band stop filter 14 has a part absorbed by terminal part 15 consisting of resistors and has the rest reflected and outputted from output end 16 through circulator 13. Height and width of the protrusion can be adjusted by changing QO and QL of filter 14, and the number of protrusions can be adjusted by connecting band stop filters different in resonance frequency.
