Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a reinforced ring having wound layers, which does not break in its configuration not only by an external force applied thereto upob turning of the reinforcing material but during its vulcanization.
CONSTITUTION: A ring-shaped configuration of 68 woven wires is fabricated by employing a ring-shaped core 11 formed by winding wires of hard steel and of 1.6mm in diameter, for example, in its outer diameter of 102mm in an endless form, winding five twists of strands 12 of, for example, 0.96mm in diameter per one turn in eight turns of an inner layer, then four twists of strands 12 per one turn in fourteen turns of a second layer in opposite direction to the first layer, three twists of strands 12 per one turn in twenty turns of a third layer in the same direction as the first layer, and three twists of strands 12 per one turn in twentysix turns of the last layer in the same direction as the second layer sequentially thereon totally in four layers in cross section.
