Abstract

PURPOSE:To encase and fasten easily the amplifier of an ignition device fitted on one face side of a holder plate in an opening provided in a distributor housing for the efficient heat radiation of the amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A distributor doby consists of a distributor housing 10 made of aluminium for example and a resin distributor cap 20, and an ignition signal generator and a distributing rotor are encased therein. A thick fitting portion 11 with a fixed height is formed on the outer surface of the side wall of a housing 10, and an opening 12 therein. An amplifier 30 is fitted on one face side of a metallic plate made of aluminium for example and having a high heat radiation efficiency. The amplifier 30 is encased in the opening 12 and a holder plate 40 is fastened on the fitting portion 11 with a screw 41. The fitting of the housing 10 is thus completed.
