Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the ON-OFF AM signal which features a high fidelity to the binary base band signal by controlling both the oscillation and its stop of the integrating astable multivibrator containing the differential amplifier circuit. CONSTITUTION:With application of the positive voltage to input terminal T1, astable multivibrator type oscillation circuit 4 starts oscillations. And circuit 4 stops oscillations with application of the negtive voltage to terminal T1. Circuit 6 functions as the buffer amplifier and the low-pass filter. Accordingly, circuit 6 functions as the ON-OFF AM modulator by the binary base band signal applied to terminal T1 with no DC component of the binary base band signal contained. As a result, a high-fidelity ON-OFF AM signals can be obtained.
