Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title rice suitable as a lunch or provision of school lunch, composed of a rice ball covered with a foamed outer layer, by coating a rice ball with a pasty mixture obtained by kneading wheat flour, barley flour or corn meal with water, and baking the coated rice ball.
CONSTITUTION: A ball of rice 1 (rice and/or barley, optionally seasoned with salt, soy sauce, etc., mixed with ingredients such as processes food, e.g. ham and sausage, or green vegetables, meat, fish or shellfish, or frizzled with oil) is covered with an outer layer composed of wheat flour, barley flour or corn meal kneaded with water (optionally seasoned with sugar, salt, etc., or added with milk, proteins, yeast, baking powder, etc.).
