Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the air leakage from an air preheater employing a heat pipe and dispense with reinforcing power and special equipment for enclosing a working medium generated by a boiler, by using the working medium as the internal enclosed medium of the heat pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The air preheater comprises a casing 4-1, a partition plate 4-2 and a duct-fitting flange 4-3. The heat pipe comprises a body 5-1, fins 5-1', a wick 5-1", fitting nozzles 5-2 and supports 5-3. The heat pipe is attached to a working medium inlet header, which comprises a body 6-1, an inlet nozzle 6-2, a working medium inlet valve 6-3 and a working medium communication pipe 6-4. The communication pipe is connected to a steam drum and a turbine bleeding point through an enclosing system to enclose the working medium.
