Abstract
PURPOSE:The title composition usable for molded articles having improved rubber elasticity, heat and oil resistance, and mechanical properties, comprising a specific thermoplastic resin, an organosilicon compound, a reinforcing filler, a hardener, and an organopolysiloxane-containing rubber. CONSTITUTION:A composition prepared by kneading (A) 100 parts by wt. of a mixture of (a) 50-95wt% of natural on a synthetic rubber, and (b) 50-5wt% of an organopolysiloxane having a polymerization degree >=100 and two or more mercapto groups in one molecule of the average composition formula I: (R is monofunctional hydrocarbon group; a is 1.98-2.05), with (B) 5-200 parts by wt. of a thermoplastic resin having a solftening point >=50 deg.C (C) 0.1-20 parts by wt. of an organosilicon compound having a polysulfide bond, hydroxyl groups, and hydrolyzable atoms or groups directly linked to the silicon atom, e.g. formula II, (D) 5-200 parts by wt. of a reinforcing filler having a specific surface area >=50m<2>/g, e.g. hydrous silicic acid, and (E) 0.1-15 parts by wt. of a hardener, e.g. zinc dibutyldithiocarbamate.
