PURPOSE:To provide the subject circuit wherein in place of a resistor not relating to recording a switching element exclusively used for discharging is provided, and a charge accumulated in a piezo-electric element is discharged, whereby speed-up of recording and low consumption of power are attempted. CONSTITUTION:A driving transistor 1 is turned on, and a piezo-electric element 3 is charged through a resistor 2. Then, a discharge transistor 5 is turned on, and the charge accumulated in the piezo-electric element 3 is discharged.
