Abstract

PURPOSE:To accomplish wide expansion of the side view simply and accurately by employing a concave mirror for the rearview mirror of automobiles or the like. CONSTITUTION:A side-long concave mirror 4 with given dimensions is arranged at a specified position of automobiles or the like. This allows wider expansion of the side view 17 in the total view 16 as compared with the conventional convex rearview mirror when the driver 14 of automobiles or the like looks into the mirror. As the wider side view 17 only requires inward extention of the mirror from the side line of the car, this can reduce the danger of bloking the traffic by projection from the side of the car.
