Abstract

PURPOSE: To clamp a winding thoroughly and also to facilitate insertion of a shield ring by providing a pair of end plates on opposite faces forming a split of the shield ring for electric field relief and connecting the end plates with a binding member.
CONSTITUTION: A shield ring 7 is formed on the extreme outer periphery of a winding 2 round a core 1, and a pair of end plates 8, 9 are fixed in parallel on opposite faces forming a split to prevent a short circuit. An insulating plate 10 is then inserted in a clearance formed between the end plates 8, 9, a bolt 11 is provided through the end plates 8, 9 and the insulating plate 10, and further an insulating washer 12 and an insulating bead 13 are provided to insulate the end plates 8, 9 electrically. Then, the end plates 8, 9 are connected with a washer 14 and a nut 15, and an arrangement is such that width T1 of the clearance between the end plates 8, 9 can be adjusted by operating the bolt 11 and the washer 12.
