Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a spectrophotometer from being adversely affected by a temperature drift due to thermal conduction and maintain thermal equilibrium by attaching a heat dissipating fin at a light source holder and forcibly cooling the fan by air by means of the fin. CONSTITUTION:Heat generated by lighting a light source 1 is transmitted from the holder 42a of a lamp holder 42 to a heat dissipating fin 42b. When an air cooling fan 43 is rotated to feed air to the fin 42b to thereby cool the fin 42b by the air, the fin 42b is forcibly cooled to thereby cool the holder 41b connected to the fin 42b. Accordingly, it can restrict heating of the light source to thus thermally balance therebetween.
