Abstract

PURPOSE: To evaporation-remove oil in oil-contg. scale with the potential heat of molten slag by spreading the slag on flatland and scattering the scale after solidifying the slag surface.
CONSTITUTION: By turning slag pan 3 molten slag 4 in pan 3 is spread on slag field 1 to about 100W150cm thickness. After solidifying the slag surface mill scale or precipitated scale 5 contg. oil such as rolling oil is scattered to 50W150mm thickness, whereby the oil is evaporation-removed with the potential heat of slag layer 4. The oil-free scale is adsorption-recovered with a magnet crane or the like and reused in a blast furnace, a sintering furnace, etc.
